In our Christian tradition we have a sacred calendar—a way of marking time through the course of the year by telling the story of Jesus Christ. There’s a secular calendar to coordinate our lives within a secular age, and there’s a sacred calendar to form our lives through the gospel story. We let the rhythms and rest of the Liturgical Church Calendar guide our seasons at Life Abundant, beginning with Advent and tracing a thread through the rest of the year.
We’re currently in Ordinary Time, the six-month season between Pentecost and Advent. This season is marked by rest and repose. We are practicing resurrection and proving what we believe in how we move through the world.
You can find the scriptures for our Sunday services in the calendar, as well as daily readings for further meditation.
