In our Christian tradition we have a sacred calendar—a way of marking time through the course of the year by telling the story of Jesus Christ. There’s a secular calendar to coordinate our lives within a secular age, and there’s a sacred calendar to form our lives through the gospel story.
We let the rhythms and rest of the Liturgical Church Calendar guide our seasons at Life Abundant, beginning with Advent and weaving a thread throughout the rest of the year.
On the heels of the Christmas celebration that has harkened our re-telling of the story of Jesus for a new year, we relish in the Epiphany. It’s a season of revealing – who God is, what God does, and what that means for us.
You can find the scriptures for our Sunday services in the calendar, as well as daily readings for further meditation.
